Residents will consider City Council candidates in five districts on November 3. The nomination period to run for the City Council ended August 7. 

The following candidates are running in each district (listed in order per Thursday’s Secretary of State randomized alphabet drawing). Districts 2 and 4 are 2-year terms, while Districts 1, 3, and 5 are 4-year terms.

Nomination Period for November 3, 2026 Election

The City Clerk will issue Nomination Papers and Candidate Handbooks during the nomination period, which is Monday, July 13, 2026 through Friday, August 7, 2026. All required documents are to be filed before 5 pm on Friday, August 7, 2026.
