The City of Mission Viejo will host our 4th Annual American Cancer Society Paddle for the Battle Charity Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, August 22 at the Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center. This event is spectator friendly, so if you are not registered to play, be sure to head down to Felipe to watch some matches, support onsite fundraising efforts and visit with our sponsors!

The 2026 BBQ Music Fest is firing up the grills and turning up the volume with a three‑day entertainment lineup packed with live music, family fun, and high‑energy performances that pair perfectly with the best barbecue in town. From July 10-12 at Oso Viejo Community Park, festivalgoers can expect a flavorful blend of bands, DJs, magic shows, and interactive entertainment that keeps the party going all weekend long.

As part of our yearlong celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and the once-in-a-lifetime Mission Viejo Parade on July 11, don’t miss the Classic Car Display from 10 am to 2 pm at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

Hosted by the Mission Viejo Community Foundation and Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee the annual Boots, Beer & BBQ event benefits the City's adopted Marines.

Guests will enjoy boot scootin’ and two-steppin’ line dance lessons, a live DJ and delicious catered meal from Outback Steakhouse. (Beer, wine and soda will be available for purchase).

Tickets, which sell out fast each year, are only $40 per person and benefit the Headquarters Battalion of the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton.
