The City of Mission Viejo is requesting proposals for a consultant to implement the City’s Housing Rehabilitation Program. The Housing Rehabilitation Program (Program) has been adopted by the City Council of the City of Mission Viejo to meet the City’s Community Development goals of providing its residents with decent, safe and sanitary housing and a suitable living environment. The Housing Rehabilitation Program provides technical and financial assistance to qualifying Low Income Households who are owner/occupants of single-family residential properties in the City of Mission Viejo.
The primary funding for the Program is through Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The Program is implemented by the City’s Community Development Department. The Housing Rehabilitation Consultant will report to the Program Administrator (Director of Community Development or his designee). The Program Administrator submits Program applications to a City Loan Committee for approval/denial.
