As part of the City’s new Business Spotlight program, a local restaurant celebrating its 20th anniversary will be recognized during the City Council’s meeting on Tuesday, April 28.

The business portion of the meeting begins at 6 pm in the Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.

The City Council previously approved partially funding a Marguerite Recreation Center Surface Parking Lot Expansion project, which would address immediate parking needs and help reduce on-street parking during special events at the Marguerite Aquatics Complex, Marguerite Tennis Pavilion, and the Oso Creek Golf Course. During the meeting, Council Members will consider awarding a contract to design and create construction drawings and specifications in preparation of a future bid for the project.

Tuesday’s meeting also includes a presentation from the Orange County Registrar of Voters about the upcoming election process as well as an update about recent legislation at the state and federal level from Townsend Public Affairs.

City Council meetings are streamed live on the City's website and air on Cox Channel 30 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Residents are encouraged to sign up for the City's eNewsletter and follow the City's official social media sites for the most accurate, up-to-date information.
