The Friends of the Mission Viejo Library has extended its special fundraiser "Spring Fling with a Book" through April 11.
Find a surprise book for a loved one, friend, or yourself. A variety of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books are available for purchase for $5-$15. Each book is beautifully wrapped for that perfect springtime gift, whether it’s for Easter, Mother’s Day or a fun birthday present. The wrapped books contain clues, Goodreads ratings, and more to help you choose a story without judging by the cover, title or author.
With each fundraising book purchased, customers receive one free prize ticket entered in a drawing for a special springtime gift basket. Gift basket items include Cheesecake Factory and Crumbl gift cards, movie tickets, book themed items, and more, valued at $185. The drawing for the gift basket is on April 13, and the winner will be notified by phone or email.
The books and gift basket are on display for purchase in the front window of the Friends Bookstore now through April 11 during bookstore hours. The bookstore is located inside the library at 100 Civic Center and is open Monday through Thursday from 10 am-6 pm; Friday 1-4:30 pm; and Saturday from 10 am-4 pm. It is closed on Sunday.

Thanks for your inquiry! Donations to the library are handled by our Friends of the Library organization. Some may be added to the library collection and the remainder are sold to raise funds to support the library. They accept donations in good condition during bookstore hours:
Monday - Thursday: 10 am to 6 pm
Friday: 1 to 4:30 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 4 pm
Sunday: CLOSED
Donations are limited to 6 boxes or 10 bags. The Friends of the Library are happy to provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.
