The Resource Center features current information from Veterans Administration, California Department of Veterans Services, County of Orange, City's Marine Adoption Committee and non-profit agencies serving veterans, active duty military and their families. City Direct Services
The City of Mission Viejo provides direct services and support for veterans and active military personnel through the Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center and the Mission Viejo Library by collaborating with professional and non-profit organizations.
Programs and services are available for free to all ages and branches of military.

Veterans Administration (VA) - Veterans Benefit Services
By Appointment Only: 30-minute session; call to schedule an appointment.
Dates: In-person sessions on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Services: Consultation and guidance on veteran services and benefits
VA - Veterans Mental Health Support and Resources Counseling
By Appointment Only: 60-minute session; call to schedule an appointment.
Dates: In-person sessions on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Services: Peer counseling and support; services focus on post traumatic growth; transition to civilian life; education and career counseling.

Veterans Legal Institute
Eligibility: Veteran, active duty and/or military family member connected
By Appointment Only: One hour appointments - 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and last appointment - 3:00 pm.
Dates: In-person sessions on the first Thursday of the month.
Services: Pro-bono legal services to current and former U.S. service members who are homeless, at risk, disabled, or low income.
